Geraint Lloyd is a corporate lawyer and was a partner in a number of City firms (including Osborne Clarke, Berwin Leighton Paisner and Bird & Bird) before joining Quastels as a Senior Counsel in May 2026.
Having worked in the City for over 40 years, Geraint’s experience is very wide-ranging and includes venture capital and private equity transactions, domestic and international M&A and equity capital work as well as providing general corporate advice to a diverse group of clients. Over the last 12 years he has been very active in search fund/Entrepreneur Through Acquisition (ETA) work advising on formations, acquisitions and fundings and realisations.
Geraint’s clients operate over many diverse sectors such as light engineering, operating children’s nurseries, medical devices, commercial printing, professional services training, office furnishings, legal services and debt advisory services. Many of his client relationships are very long standing extending to over 30 years in some cases.
Geraint sees his role as providing guidance and support to clients in addition to traditional legal advice. Many of his transactions have a number of separate strands which need to be managed and then brought together. He particularly enjoys helping clients to understand what is required and then seeing clients and businesses succeed.
