Since 2026, Quastels has been proud to partner with Re-engage, a charity dedicated to ending loneliness and social isolation in older people. Through friendship, conversation and community, Re-engage helps thousands of older people build meaningful social connections, reminding them that they are valued, heard and supported. Their work goes beyond reducing isolation; it restores confidence, creates lasting relationships and brings people together in ways that can genuinely transform lives. Quastels is honoured to support this mission through both fundraising and volunteering, helping to raise awareness of the challenges of loneliness and contribute to meaningful, lasting change.
As part of our partnership, members of the Quastels team volunteer as Re-engage Call Companions, committing to regular telephone conversations with an older person.
These ongoing friendships provide consistency, companionship and connection, while giving our volunteers the opportunity to make a genuine difference to someone’s life. Alongside this, we organise fundraising initiatives throughout the year to support Re-engage’s vital services and help ensure even more older people can benefit from them.

Re-engage
We support Re-engage through a combination of fundraising and volunteering. Throughout the year, our team organises fundraising initiatives to help the charity continue its work tackling loneliness amongst older people. In addition, a number of our colleagues volunteer as Re-engage Call Companions, building meaningful friendships through regular telephone conversations with an older person.
These ongoing calls provide consistency, companionship and connection, helping to reduce social isolation while giving our volunteers the opportunity to make a genuine and lasting difference.
