Ann-Maree Blake

Clients describe Ann-Maree as friendly, down to earth and exceptionally well informed.  She is able to guide clients through a plethora of complex documentation and legislation and explain difficult concepts to them in plain English.

Ann-Maree is a corporate, commercial and data protection lawyer. Her expertise and the breadth of her knowledge across corporate, commercial and data protection law means that she is able to advise clients on a wide array of business-related issues while giving advice that is commercially orientated.

She has substantial experience in corporate transactions, complex commercial agreements including joint ventures, shareholder and investment agreements, collaboration agreements, agency, franchising and distribution and data protection particularly in dealing with cross border data transfers.

Ann-Maree is a qualified Data Protection Practitioner, having obtained a Practitioner Certificate in Data Protection and has the qualification “PC.dp. (GDPR)”.

Ann-Maree works across many sectors and has a particular interest in the technology and health and beauty sectors. Her clients range from SME’s to large blue-chip corporates.

Adam Convisser

Adam is a versatile corporate, commercial and employment lawyer advising on operational issues facing many of our clients’ businesses.

This includes a wide range of commercial contracts, buying and selling of businesses and companies, corporate financing and shareholder agreements. Adam deals with our clients’ employment requirements ranging from the setting up of new contracts and staff policies to dealing with issues on termination of employment, redundancies, unfair dismissal and claims relating to theft and misuse of confidential information.

Adam joined Quastels in 2011 and has developed a reputation with his clients as a strong negotiator. Adam works across multiple sectors and in particular has a number of clients in the retail, recruitment and real estate industries.

Adam is also on the Board of Trustees for Harrow Law Centre, a non-profit organisation which provides a free and independent legal advice service to people who live or work in the London Borough of Harrow.

Jason Greenberg

Businesses and individuals work with Jason for his direct and commercial approach. Jason has been a Partner in Quastels’ Corporate and Commercial team since 2005, having worked as a commercial lawyer in Australia from 1998 and in England since 2001.

Jason is trusted by his clients to represent them at all stages of the process of buying and selling businesses or shares in companies. Jason also advises on a range of commercial contracts, working with banks, real estate investors and major players across the leisure and retail sectors.

Clients value Jason’s ability to quickly understand the issues and opportunities facing their businesses and to provide relevant and commercial advice.

Jason drafts and negotiates loan and security documents for private and institutional lenders as well as acting for borrowers.

He also acts on corporate aspects of property transactions and advises property investors, landlords and tenants on portfolio management, joint ventures and development projects.

Marcus Rebuck

Marcus is an experienced corporate and commercial lawyer with a wealth of cross-border experience.  His clients appreciate his hand-on style and advisory approach. He gets under the skin of his clients’ businesses and immerses himself in the detail.  Framing legal advice in a business context is his raison d’être.

Marcus is a European. Having studied law at the Sorbonne, he ran the London office of a pre-eminent Paris law firm for several years before setting up his own boutique law firm in 2009.  He works with start-ups, SMEs and larger companies, both in the UK and overseas, supporting them throughout their life cycle, helping them to grow their businesses, through acquisitions and organically, at home and abroad.  He advises management and stakeholders, advising on routine business matters and in troubled times, dealing with new investors and as they exit.

Marcus has a wide range of experience in company mergers and acquisitions and advises on complex commercial contracts and diverse business models, including shareholders arrangements and joint ventures, licensing, distribution, concessions and franchises as well and e-commerce and publishing agreements.

As a fluent French speaker and natural linguist, Marcus has a strong international client base in high-end fashion, beauty and luxury goods, newspaper publishers, new technology companies and agribusiness.  His clients range from SMEs to household names.
