Values

Our firm has its origins in the merger in 2002 of two established and successful London law practices: Quastels and Avery Midgen. Shared values and a strong sense of purpose form the bedrock of our values and firm culture today.

We aspire at all times to be:

First class, Diligent, Cost-effective and Pro-active

Ethics

As a law firm we are regulated by The Solicitors Regulation Authority and its professional code of conduct. Quastels endeavours to hold itself at all times to the highest ethical standards.

Environment

Quastels is a socially conscious and responsible business and we are taking steps to minimise our impact on the environment. We have active recycling and energy efficiency projects and challenge our staff to suggest ways in which we can improve our environmentally efficiency.

Diversity

Like our client base, we are a group of individuals drawn from a wide cross section of the community. We are all very different and yet somehow we all seem to fit together through a shared set of values and a shared commitment to our clients and our vision. Please click here to see the latest diversity data for Quastels LLP (collected in June 2019) in accordance with the requirements of the Solicitors Regulation Authority.

Charitable Work

At Quastels we have worked for many years with a number of charities and actively encourage participation amongst our partners and staff.

At present we are proud actively to work with four particular charities; The Anne Frank Trust, Langdon Foundation, Harrow Law Centre and Nicki’s Smile.

Anne Frank Trust

The Anne Frank Trust is one of the UK’s largest children’s educational charities that empowers young people with the knowledge, skills and confidence to challenge all forms of prejudice and discrimination.

Langdon Foundation

Langdon has come a long way since it began in 1992. At the heart of their work is a strong desire to enable Jewish people with learning disabilities to lead independent and fulfilling lives. They do this providing their members with places to live, and supporting them to find and secure work, and socialise within their local community.

Harrow Law Centre

One of our partners, Adam Convisser is on the Board of Trustees for Harrow Law Centre, a non-profit organisation which provides free and independent legal advice to local people living or working in the London Borough of Harrow.

Nicki’s Smile

One of our solicitors, Daniel Blake, founded Nicki’s Smile in memory of his late wife who passed away from a rare form of pancreatic cancer in 2010, aged just 33. Nicki’s Smile is committed to funding pioneering early diagnosis research in the hope of improving pancreatic cancer’s awful survival statistics that have remained unchanged for over 40 years.
