Jason has significant experience advising major players across the retail sector, from hairdressers to restaurateurs. He also advises a number of service providers varying from public relations companies to developers of software. He understands the issues and opportunities facing businesses across industries and can quickly provide relevant and commercial advice.
Jason also acts for property investors in commercial agreements, including agency and property joint venture arrangements, and represents vendors and purchasers and landlords and tenants in commercial property transactions.
Jason is trusted by his clients in acting at all stages through the process of acquiring and disposing of businesses. Jason also represents his clients in negotiating and documenting their funding requirements including securitisation of borrowings, acting for both lenders and borrowers.
Jason is also experienced in dealing with employment issues (including “TUPE”) and advises on operational issues facing clients on the sale of a business. Jason also has experience in drafting employment contracts, staff handbooks and dealing with settlement agreements (formerly known as compromise agreements) from both an employer’s and employee’s perspective.

Jason graduated from Monash University in commerce and law and was admitted as a solicitor in Australia in 1999 and in England and Wales in 2003.
