Costs and service information on sales (excluding contract assignments)
We set out below our legal fees and the estimated expenses involved in a sale of an existing property. However, please do contact us so we can discuss our service offering with you.
These fees do not represent our fees for selling off-plan contracts by way of assignments. Please contact us separately to discuss the issues involved and to obtain a fee estimate.
Our fees for purchases and remortgages are set out in separate fee sheets. Our fees for sales are:

Our fees for sales above £2m are on a case by case basis and generally at 0.125% plus VAT
Legal charges in addition to fixed fee:-
Money laundering search: £66 per person (£108 if overseas passport)
Bank transfer fee: £48 per bank transfer we make
Anticipated disbursements in addition to the fixed fee:-
Land registry fees: £12 (estimate)
If you are buying a leasehold there may be additional expenses under the lease, including :
Landlord’s fee for management pack: estimated at £480
Landlord’s fee for a licence to assign: estimated at £720
Our conveyancing team is led by and supervised by four partners with a wealth of experience all of whom are familiar with complex issues and potential pitfalls. Supporting the partners are a solicitor, licenced conveyancer and experienced ancillary paralegals.

Charges and costs vary considerably between matters. Consequently, this information is a general indication of costs based on an analysis of costs over the past two years.
